About the design
Every heading is a question clients actually ask, answered short first and long below, with caveats and sources in margin notes beside one reading column. One serif family, one hue in twelve steps, the section sign as the one mark: cropped at architectural scale on the first screen, hanging as display numerals in the margin, and carried across pages as a shared element. The fixed-fee answer is a real paper quote laid on a deep green field. Sample: a fictional two-lawyer employment and contracts practice in Bristol.

- Fonts are self-hosted and can be swapped. Sizes and spacing hang off tokens, not off single pages.

- Every image slot has a fixed format. You drop in your own photos and the crops stay consistent.
- Copy
- Swap every sample text, address and price directly, or let your AI assistant write them.

- Reorder, drop, repeat. The DESIGN.md in the package describes which variations the design allows.

Who checks this?
We do, with our own checker: accessibility with the BFSG profile (WCAG 2.2 AA), load time with a phone profile, requests to third-party servers. Plus a checklist we work through by hand. It is not an external seal, and automated tests find only part of the barriers. How we measure

Questions
Can I adapt a design to my client’s brand?
Yes, that is what it is built for. Colours, fonts, spacing and corner radii live in one token set you change in one place. Images, copy, addresses and prices you swap directly. Sections can be reordered, dropped or repeated; the DESIGN.md in the package describes the variations the design allows and where its limits are. You export to Astro, static HTML or WordPress.
What comes with it besides the design?
Every page of the website, not just the home page. Templates for the German legal notice, privacy policy and accessibility statement (German designs), the phone layout, a check report on accessibility and load time, social tiles and slides in the same style, a handover pack for your client and a licence for client work. Each design page lists what is in the package.
Can I use the designs for clients and hand them over?
Yes. A purchased design covers unlimited websites, your own and your clients’, for good. Your client may keep running the finished site without you and have others maintain it. The only limit: you don’t resell the design as a template. The details are in the licence.
Can I show the design to my client before I buy?
Yes, as images: on every design page you can flip through all pages, and the home page is live. A share link to every page live, valid for seven days and with a notice band, comes with the licence. If the design does not fit after all, you get your money back within 30 days.
