Install guides

Every Kiekkist design comes as one package. From it you create the export for your system and install it. By hand or with your AI coding assistant.

It always works like this

  1. Get the package

Free designs from the design page, purchased ones from the download page with your licence key. Unpack it.

  2. Create the export

With the open-source tool kk from the Kiekkist repository. One command per system; it runs locally on your computer.

  3. Install

Depending on the system: upload a theme, build a project, upload files by FTP or add components. The steps are in each guide.

Choose a guide

  1. 01

    WordPress

The design package becomes a block theme with theme.json, templates and patterns. You upload it like any theme. No plugins needed.

  2. 02

    Astro

The design package becomes an Astro project. Every section is a component, the copy sits next to it as JSON. npm run build turns it into a static website.

  3. 03

    HTML

The HTML export is the simplest form: finished pages, CSS, fonts and images. Upload them and the site runs. No Node on the server, no database.

  4. 04

    React

The React export is not a finished project but a kit for yours: sections as TSX components, pages as components, tokens as CSS variables, a Tailwind theme and shadcn/ui variables.

  5. 05

    Elementor

The Elementor export brings the design layer: a child theme with fonts, tokens and CSS, and a kit with global colours and fonts. Ready page templates are not included; you build the sections in Elementor.

With an AI assistant

Every guide has a prompt to copy. It tells your assistant which files to read first (DESIGN.md, tokens, README, licence), how to create the export and what not to touch.
