Today people pay for a website that works. After the purchase there is a checked design on your computer, but no website online yet. Domain, hosting, legal pages, accessibility statement, updates and backups are still missing. Heidrich Digital, the web agency behind Kiekkist, takes that on.
Setup
Once: from download to online
- Domain and DNS
- We register the domain or move your existing one, and set up DNS, TLS certificate and redirects.
- Hosting in Germany
- The site runs on servers in Germany or the EU, under a data processing agreement.
- Deployment
- Built and deployed from a Git repository. Every change can be traced and rolled back.
- Adding content
- Your texts, images, opening hours and contact details go onto the pages. You supply the content, we put it in.
- Adapting legal pages
- Legal notice and privacy policy from the design’s templates, adapted to the services your site actually uses.
- Accessibility statement
- Written from the check of your finished site, not just the empty design.
- Performance check
- Load time and Core Web Vitals measured on a phone before the site goes live.
- Handover
- Logins, repository and a short guide belong to you. You are not tied to us.
Operation
Ongoing: so it keeps working
- Updates
- Keeping dependencies and build tools current and rebuilding the site.
- Backups
- Regular backups outside the server. Restoring is tested too.
- Monitoring
- Uptime, certificate and form delivery are monitored. If something fails, we get an alert.
- Security updates after incidents
- When a vulnerability becomes known, for example in PHP or Node.js, we check whether your site is affected and apply the update.
- Keeping legal pages current
- When a service is added or the site changes, we update the legal notice, privacy policy and accessibility statement.
- Small changes
- New opening hours, a different photo, an edited paragraph. How much of that is included is stated in the quote.
What is not included
- Legal advice. We adapt templates and keep them current; that does not replace a review by a lawyer.
- Writing copy and taking photos. The content comes from you.
- New features and rebuilds, such as a shop, a booking system or new page types. That would be a separate quote.
- Advertising, campaigns and social media.
- A 24/7 emergency service.
- The accessibility of content you add yourself later.
Process
How it works
Inquiry
You send the form below, ideally with the design you bought or want to buy.
Short call
By phone or video we go through scope, content, domain and hosting.
Fixed price
You get a written quote with a fixed price for the setup and, if you want, for operation. Work starts only once you agree.
Online
We set up the site, you approve it, it goes live. If you booked operation, we look after it from then on.
Cost
Price on request, fixed price after a short call
The price depends on how many pages and how much content there is, whether a form or funnel is part of it and where the site should run. That is why we name it after the call, in writing and as a fixed price. Domain and hosting costs are listed separately in the quote.
You buy the design from Kiekkist. Setup and operation are a separate contract with Heidrich Digital.
